Outside the borders of the emerging Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC), envisions a sustainable re-urbanization of the prestige industrial site. The plan features an tower and podium development with integrated greenspaces, establishing a dynamic new presence on the Vaughan skyline. Its vision emphasizes contributing to Vaughan’s growth as a connected, complete, and resilient urban centre, guided by principles of transit-oriented development, sustainable urban design, and the creation of a vibrant live-work community. It will support a range of housing options, while introducing a diverse mix of programmatic uses at grade to activate the streetscape along Jane St and Pennsylvania Ave.
The project will contribute to the long-term protection and regeneration of adjacent natural heritage systems by enhancing ecological functions and incorporating sustainable design strategies such as low-impact development, enhanced stormwater management, ecological restoration, and native landscaping.
